Features of the DRI Dental Implant System
1- It is now well-established that stress in the crestal bone area is one of the key factors in bone analysis in the midterm and long term. Therefore, the DRi implant is designed parallel and only 3 millimeters of it is conical, making it easier to replace the implant. An implant stability of more than 30 to 35 newtons per square centimeter is not suitable and is not recommended as it leads to bone resorption in the long term. Also, it has threads in reverse buttress form which have greater resistance to compressive forces.
2. Along with the DRi fixture, in addition to the cover screw, a healing abutment has also been placed to create a longer period for soft tissue healing, exactly the same time as considered for osseointegration.
3. The most stable implant surface today is the SLA, which has been able to maintain its stability for years. The DRI implant has an SLA surface, which is an advantage for the implant. In this method, titanium is machined by CNC machine using sandblasted aluminum oxide, then washed with hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid, resulting in the creation of an ideal surface roughness and removal of excess materials on the fixture. The treated surface through SLA increases osteoblast proliferation and better cell adhesion to the implant surface, leading to increased bone-implant contact and faster osseointegration. The rough surface compared to the smooth surface has more superficial energy, which improves and speeds up osseointegration. Also, at the end, by using the Anodizing technique, the wettability property is added to the implant surface, which causes the absorption of proteins needed for cell adhesion to the implant surface. Today, most famous brands use this technique for surface treatment.
4. The prosthetic components of this system are similar to other Korean and Iranian systems, which will provide consumers with more ease and confidence.
5. The exclusive surgical kit of the DRi implant system is very simple and durable while the surgical kit of other similar Korean systems is also usable.
6. This system has successfully passed all mandatory tests and obtained a license for use and production from the Medical Equipment Department.
SLA Surface
When creating the SLA coating on the titanium surface through sandblasting with aluminum oxide and acid etching, washing off the aluminum oxide from the fixture surface is of utmost importance to achieve a surface free from any impurities. In today’s modern world, dental implants discuss “Dirty surface” and “Clean surface,” which guarantee the health of the fixture and bone for the long term. Therefore, the presence of an experienced technical team alongside medical equipment engineers and highly experienced chemists in the factory to check the level of surface contamination of the fixture is crucial. The DRI system, by adhering to all international standards and with the support of the highly experienced technical team, ensures a completely clean and problem-free SLA surface for you.
